Raspberry Vanilla Tart

Finally I managed to find a little time to come back with this amazing recipe that I promised to share with you a couple of weeks ago ( sorry I was in my vacation without access to my laptop). So, I made this recipe for my fiancé’s birthday; I thought that is summer and so so so hot outside and this sweet and cool recipe will be perfect to surprise him with. He loved it so much that he eat half of it alone 🙂

Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 250 gr flour
  • 50 gr sugar
  • 220 gr butter from the fridge
  • 2-3 tablespoons of milk

Mix it with your hand or with the help of an robot. Then you have to put it in the fridge for aprox 30 minutes. After this, with much flour  roll a sheet and put it in the tart form. Prick the base with a fork in several places (not to  swell when is baking) and put it in the oven at 180C for about half an hour, until golden – brown

Vanilla cream:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tea spoons of vanilla extract
  • 6 eggs
  • 60 gr sugar
  • 40 gr amidin

Directions:

  • In the milk sprinkle a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Place the saucepan over low heat. In a bowl, beat three egg yolks with 30 gr of sugar and 20 gr amidin. When the milk is close to the boiling point mix with the egg yolks cream and put back on the fire, stirring, until golden creamy. If you make it until this point you just have to put the vanilla cream in the tart form and fill it with raspberries.

I hope you will love it as much as we did !
